Connect with #Kazuliski for Cyberpunk 2077 News & Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay. #Cyberpunk2077 is an RPG being developed by CD Projekt RED in association with the Cyberpunk 2020 Pen & Paper system author, Mike Pondsmith. Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in Night City, the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future. You play as V, a hired gun on the rise, who just got their first serious contract. In a world of cyber enhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend. Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the same universe as Mike Pondsmith’s classic pen & paper RPG system, Cyberpunk 2020 from R. Talsorian Games.
In this week’s Cyberpunk 2077 News, January 10th 2019 was finally upon us. For the past couple of months, I have been inundated with messages on a daily basis that January 10th would herald a new era for Cyberpunk 2077 News. Commentators expected nothing less than new Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay or perhaps the Cyberpunk 2077 Release date. CD Projekt Red might even announce that Alt Cunningham will be appearing on the cover of Playboy magazine, rather like Triss Merigold from the Witcher series! Surely all these internet commentators and street rats could not be wrong? In anticipation of these Cyberpunk 2077 news updates, I took the day off work and conducted surveillance on the Cyberpunk 2077 twitter account. Suffice to say Choomba, after diligently watching for twenty-four hours, I can report there was no new Cyberpunk 2077 news from CD Projekt Red on January 10th.
Cyberpunk 2077 News: Mike Pondsmith explained why style over substance is important for Cyberpunk 2077. In Night City, it is rude and even dangerous to initiate eye contact, much less strike up a conversation with a stranger. The only signals you have to work with might be the subtle glance you give your fellow rider on the subway. What a person wears, what affectations they display, such as gang tattoos, clothes, patches, visible gear, are essentially their style. An individual does not receive the option of gaining substance in that situation. What else might you see? How the person carries themselves, how they present their attitude. That is what the phrase style over substance means. In a dangerous, predator-filled environment, how you present yourself to the world is of the utmost importance. You need to look like an equally dangerous predator to have a chance of not becoming prey in Cyberpunk 2077. Style over Substance. Attitude is Everything. Remember that choomba.
Cyberpunk 2077 News from August 2018 with Cyberpunk 2077 Lead Animator Maciej Pietras, Maciej revealed that most vehicles seen in Cyberpunk 2077 can be controlled by V. Furthermore, vehicles can be customized. Pietras suggested that it will be possible to modify variables such as deciding in which hand the player will hold their weapon. On the topic of quests, the player will be presented with a myriad of difficult choices, including Cornelian dilemmas. A cornelian dilemma is a situation where the player will be obliged to choose between two courses of action, either of which will have a detrimental effect on themselves or on someone important to them. Maciej revealed that the player will encounter cats and dogs in Night City but no reference to pets was made. While intriguing, these details reiterate the need to be cautious from whom you get online information from, particularly with the propensity of some street rats to regurgitate old news. For example, when asked to clarify these details, this week Cyberpunk 2077 community manager, Amelia Kolat confirmed that the option to switch weapons from left to right hands is still being decided upon and at this stage seems unlikely to make it into the final version of Cyberpunk 2077, meaning information from last August is not necessarily accurate anymore. Remember that everything shown in the Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay demo was subject to change.
Cyberpunk 2077 News on vehicles a few choombas have asked about the possibility of there being flying vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077. Previously Mike Pondsmith commented that while there were flying vehicles in Cyberpunk 2020, he put them in because they represented a fast and efficient way of getting characters from one end of Night City to another.
